Scientists are actively studying the relationships between ocean species that live side by side. Why isn't this sea lion swimming away from the blue shark? Can it recognize that the shark isn't hunting at the moment? Or is this particular shark too small to be a threat? If we understand shark behavior better we humans will be safer when we enter the ocean.
